On one of our P-Days in March 2017 we took a trip to a light house.  These two pictures were on the way and this was a pretty Beach we passed.
This is not a working lighthouse anymore.  There are several care takers that live in a barracks like apartments that the British built.  It is called Cape Sierra Leone Light house.  (We looked it up on line and Wikipedia says it was built in 1849 by the English)  I'm guessing the care takers just took a guess on the date and someone painted 1812 on it and said the Portuguese built it.

A cool tree on the way walking back to our truck.  The next two pictures are pretty flowers we saw not far from the tree.
