After we left the Ferry we had about 3 hours before the next one went back to Freetown, so we walked around in Lungi.  It was pretty hot this day.  Some of the sights we saw along the road we walked.  It was a dirt road.  They are working on it.

Top picture is a valley we saw between a couple of houses.  We walked down a little and it had a cool breeze coming up and we stood in the shade for a while and cooled off.  It was a beautiful little valley.  The bottom picture is a group of ladies that were harvesting some potato leaf.

Top picture:  These cute little kids were playing and I had to get a picture of them.  Below, behind me you can see what looks like grass.  That is the closest to grass that we have ever seen here.

Top picture: we are back on the Ferry heading to Freetown and this is the Ferry coming toward us heading to Lungi.   They have 2 Ferry's running at the same time going opposite directions.  Below: the cars park on the bottom level and they are trying to get off.  The front car was trying to turn around and finally made it.  They are not patient people and always try to be first.
Below was a truck we followed on our way back home.  The guys were sitting on big rocks.  We see things like this all the time.  It would never work in the states.
