A couple of weeks ago we rode the Ferry.  These are a few pictures I took as we were driving there. This is pretty much how they live.  Most of what they do, washing, dishes and bath time are done outside.  

 The picture above was a poda poda trying to get up this side road onto Kissy road which is a very busy street.  The poda poda had to get a running start just to get up the road.  You can see the stop sign there, but no one pays any attention to them.  If they can get into traffic without stopping they do. 
 Theses are some markets we passed along the way.  They are all along the streets.  They often have a lot of different kinds of things like the one above.  Below is the hat market and other shops. 

 Above is the shoe market and below is just a snap of the street and how they sell things.  We have become very good at shopping the street markets and maneuvering  around the traffic and people.  It is an adventure every time.  If we find something we want we buy it because the next time we go it will not be there.  Even sometimes 20 minutes later the people are gone.
